Weekend Rewind

I'm trying to get back in the swing of blogging! I want to push myself to either blog every day or every other day!

This weekend was a whirlwind.

Friday was just a school day, and we didn't do anything fancy. Ben's friend came over and we had cheeseburger pizza. For those of you that have never had cheeseburger pizza, you need to try it. The ingredients are: Alfredo sauce, browned hamburger, cheddar cheese, and a pizza crust. You use the alfredo as your sauce. On top of the alfredo, you add the browned hamburger. On top of the alfredo and the browned hamburger you add the cheddar cheese. You can really add as much as you would like. Bake using your pizza crust's directions. We usually bake it until the crusts are golden brown, but you can bake it until it is at your liking! :) We love it! I got the recipe from my aunt and I'm so excited that I got the recipe, because everyone LOVES it!!

Saturday, I had to get up early to go and take my ACT test. I had to be there at 8 a.m. and I was ready to get it over with! I was in a room with about 8-10 other kids that were taking the test with me. Thankfully I got the test over with and was able to go home. Before I left it started snowing! It wasn't much, and it didn't stick. I am very glad that it didn't stick because I still had to get home. Mom made some party food to watch the Army v Navy game. She made some of my favorites! Charleston Cheese Dip (Trisha Yearwood's recipe), French Onion Dip, and boneless chicken bites! It was soo yummy, and it was exactly what I needed after taking a 4 hour test! Saturday afternoon and into the night, it was rainy and nasty outside, and so it made for good movie weather! That is basically what I did all afternoon!

Sunday we had church. I love my Sunday School! I am just going to put that out there! My Sunday School teacher is pretty amazing!! She makes Sunday School my favorite part of church, and each Sunday, I can't wait to be in the class. Yesterday, we did something different than normal.. I think that I have mentioned that we are going through Jefferson Bethke's book Jesus > Religion, but yesterday we answered a few questions, and then we were given notebooks, that fit our personalities, to keep blessings from 2013 in and goals for 2014 in! I loved that idea! I got a pink zebra one with my initial on it, and I think it completely fit my personality!! At first writing the blessings part was hard, but once I got to thinking, I had NO problem finding things! Writing them down really helps you think of all the blessings that God has given you. I am truly blessed!! Writing the goals down was pretty easy.. I have some major goals that I want to see be fulfilled this coming year.. Just a couple
1. Be accepted to Liberty University
2. Adjust to living on campus and not being dependent on someone
3. Get accepted to the LU nursing program

Sunday afternoon was just chilled! My favorite part!!

xoxo,<3 Katelyn
