Weekend Rewind

I am official on Christmas break, and I couldn't be happier!! :) and yes I know, I tots failed at blogging every day or every other day.. oh well. I'll try again! Y'all will forgive me won't you?! Thanks!! :)

This weekend was really fun. I know it's not over yet, but it was still fun..

Friday-- I went to a friend's house to help with her little girls and to help her bake. We made cookies, brownie bites, puppy chow, pumpkin bread, and pretzel Hershey Kiss m&m things. Her girls like to help so we had a lot of helpers. I ended up staying the night. We watched the I Love Lucy Christmas Special in color. I had never seen I Love Lucy and I ended up liking it! :)

Saturday-- My brother had his guitar recital. They have recital's twice a year and it's nice to see what the kid's have learned. Everyone did a good job! My favorite song was one at the end. A group from Ben's studio played and sang "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. They did a good job!

Sunday-- We had our Christmas Service this morning, and the kids did a good job! Mom had been working with them for a couple of church services and it really paid off! They sang about four songs and my dad read the Christmas Story from Luke. After church, we had some close friends (family) over for gift exchange!! The gift exchange turned into a game of Bananagrams! If you have never played that game, you seriously need to play it! It is so much fun!!! We were all laughing so hard that we were probably crying!! It was a lot of fun!!
