Liberty Tour

On Wednesday my mom and I went to Liberty University to have a full tour of the campus and the residence halls! I have been on campus several times, and I have even been in the big hall that has all the classrooms in them. (We went to a senior art show for a friend once there! Oh if you need ANY type of art or graphic design, go look up Kidd Fine Art on facebook! She can hook you up! She was the one with the art show!)

We got to the Welcome Center, and they were so welcoming!! I had my own "reserved" parking spot for the day, and when we went in my name was on the welcome board! It was so sweet.. We were there about 10 minutes early, so we just looked at my welcome packet while we waited for our tour guide. Once we got our tour guide. (Who I highly recommend if you go take a tour there. His name is Samuel!)  We watched a little intro video and then it was on to the real tour.

We went to Demoss Hall to tour just a little bit of the different things that it has to offer. We saw the computer lab, classrooms, study zone, nursing labs, and different things about Demoss. After Demoss we went to the dining hall. I was amazed by the dinning hall! It was like a food court. I loved all the different varieties of food that you can get! After the dining hall we went to the Vines Center. I had been to the Vines Center several times before. Concerts, games, convo, you name it I have been there for it!

After seeing everything on campus in walking distance, we went on the driving tour. We visited residence halls, Tilley Student Center, and different places on campus. I liked looking at the different residence halls. I was started to actually see myself there next fall! I can see my decorating my dorm room with my other roommates! I can't wait!! They are in the process of building new dorms, and I am really praying that I will be able to get into those. They look really nice! Hopefully if I get the Pell Grant it will cover a little bit of the costs for living in the Commons.

We met with an admissions counselor before leaving, just to make sure that I was on track for everything! My transcripts were sent in, and I completed my ACT yesterday, so as soon as they get the results back from that then they will make a decision!

The parking spot that was reserved!
 The welcome board!
Thanks to everyone that prayed for me yesterday! I got the test complete and I truly felt the prayers!! :)

xoxo,<3 Katelyn
