Moriah Peters, Rend Collective Experiment, and Tenth Avenue North Concert

Last night I had the chance to go hear three great bands at Liberty University. It was sooo much fun, and it was the beginning of a great thing! I will be going to more concerts in the future. We went with a group of friends, and it was just tons of fun. We got there early so we could get a good seat, and I am glad that we did get there early. We only had to wait for about an hour, and then the doors opened. We were able to get a seat on the floor,  but we ended up standing the whole time up by the stage. We really got a good place to stand. It wasn't right up on the stage, but it wasn't too far back! Moriah Peters was the first one to sing, and then Rend Collective Experiment sang. After they sang, the lead singer for Tenth Avenue North came out and talked to the crowd about sponsoring kids in foreign countries through a ministry called Compassion. After he talked to the crowd it was intermission while they set everything up for Tenth Avenue North. Tenth Avenue North sang for probably close to 2 hours. They didn't want to stop, and the crowd didn't want them to stop! After the concert, we went and looked at the tables that the singers had, and right beside Moriah Peters' table, she was standing right there talking to fans, taking pictures, and signing autographs! We stood in line, and waiting for our chance to get to take to her. When it was our turn to go and talk to her, she came up and hugged us, and asked us what our names where, and actually took time to talk to us. She was sooooooo sweet!! She talked to us for like 5 minutes!! She didn't try just take the picture and then just go on to the next person! She was genuinely interested in what we had to say, and what we thought of the concert. She has earned so much respect from me from just doing that. Her talking to us, and taking the time to talk to us, made her more of a real person, then just someone that sings on a stage. She is really awesome!! Here are some pictures from last night!!

The lead singer for Tenth Avenue North. His name is Mike, and he has a great testimony, where God, basically had to break him before he could see what God wanted it to do!
Moriah Peters with Tenth Avenue North singing "Losing" That is my favorite song, and I was soooo excited when Moriah Peters sang it with them!!
 Moriah Peters
Mike when out into the audience, and went and shook people's hands, and gave a little devotion as he talked! He is truly blessed, and you can tell that he spends time in the Word of God, because he was quoting scriptures left and right. He was also able to personalize those scriptures to the situation, and to the group of people he was talking to!
Tenth Avenue North singing! They were amazing!

 Moriah Peters
Rend Collective Experiment singing. They are from Ireland, and I had never heard of them before, but they are also amazing! They songs are so upbeat, and just fun to listen too!
Harleigh, Katie, and I before the concert!
