Friday: Honestly I can't remember what we did! It must not have been too important! Ha!
Saturday: We met up with my grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins for lunch. They had come down to watch Ben play in his spring recital and we went to lunch before! For his recital piece he played a duet with his guitar teacher. They played In Christ Alone, and it was soo pretty!! I loved it, but I'm kind of partial! We had Chinese for dinner and it was perfect end to a good day!
Sunday: We had church and then we headed up to MD to visit grandparents for Memorial Day! They waited for us to get there to eat lunch!! My grandma fixed an amazing meal. We had leg of lamb (although I tend to call it lamb of leg! Ha!), chicken legs, new potatoes, and green beans! We had chocolate fondue for dessert! Yummo!! We had church that night and I helped in my grandmother's class. We made bird feeders out of pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed. The kids loved being able to make those and feed God's creation.
Monday: We had a picnic at my grandparents local park! We cooked out and just had a great time. It did get really warm by the afternoon though. Thankfully we had a shaded pavilion that we were under.
