Weekend Rewind

Wow! I feel like this weekend was on fast forward! I blinked and it was over! Isn't that how weekends always are?

Friday: I had to resolve a scholarship issue with Liberty, but thankfully we got it all worked out! I was so thankful to LU for being willing to help me with the issue, and working it out for me. This scholarship is helping with a big chunk of my tuition, and I am so very thankful for that!

Saturday: We went to a soccer game in the morning. A little girl in our church was playing soccer, and she invited us to go! I loved seeing all the little kids out there playing! Too cute! After the soccer game, we tried heading over to our local fried chicken festival, but that was a bust. There were a lot of people in a very tiny space. They were also selling chicken, but they wanted a lot of money for a little bit of food! We opted for pizza from Walmart! :) I had to babysit that night, so after dinner that's where I went! :)

Sunday: Church. After church, we had a birthday party to go to for one of the girls in our church. It was a really nice day to be outside! The kids swam in the pool, there was corn hole and horseshoes to play! After the party, a group of gals went and saw Mom's Night Out! I think it is the funniest movie I have seen in a while. It was clean movie! No bad words, no scenes to have to cover your kids eyes, and it had some really good life advice in it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm not even a Mom! :) If you can go see it, DO IT!! You won't regret it!! I also got my senior pictures back from my photographer! I was so excited! I would show them to whomever would look at them!!
