Weekend Rewind

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all my readers who are moms or grandmas! I hope you were treated like the queen you are!

Friday: I went and painted our utility room at our church. First we primed it, but then realized that we should probably paint it also. We decided on a light grey. Something that would be a good contrast to the other colors in the church. While we were there, we discovered that a bird had built her nest in the gravel at church.

Saturday: I went and got my nails done for my senior pictures. I was going to get acrylics, but they didn't have time time to fit me in, so I got shellacs. I got a really pretty bubble gum pink put on, and they have lasted amazing! The girl said they would last for three weeks, and I am going to bank on that! That night I had to babysit for some friends of mine.

Sunday: Mother's Day. I took my mom and my little sister to The Melting Pot for lunch. It was SO yummy! Melting Pot is probably one of my favorite places to go! Lexi had never been and she LOVED it!! After lunch, we booked it back home and I got ready for senior pictures! I was getting them taken on our friend's farm. Their land is gorgeous! So many pretty places to get pictures. We had me in "enchanted" woods, wading through their creek, up on some rocks. I had a blast! She got her truck stuck trying to get back from the creek so we had to try and figure out how to get it out! I was trying my hardest not to get mud on my white lace dress! The lighting was *perfect* and I had a blast! I can't wait to get all of them back!! She is seriously talented!

You can find this talented gal here on Facebook!

xoxo, <3 Katelyn
