This quote was at the end of my chapter that I read this morning, and it really spoke to me. Unconditional love is something very hard to grasp, and then something harder to actually apply. For me I have been trying my hardest to apply the unconditional love like Jesus has.. I know that I will not be able to achieve that, because somewhere down the road, I know that I won't want to love someone unconditionally. Not because I choose not to love that person, but I'm sure that they will do something that won't make me want to love them.
This chapter in Spoken For was one of my favorites. Lets just face it, this book is my favorite. Alyssa asked the readers a very blunt question. Do you believe God loves you? I'm sure there were reactions to that answer that probably sounded a lot like this: Yes, God does love me, or I'm sure he loves me. If you actually took the time to think about that question, what would your answer be? Do YOU really believe that God loves you? Guess what, God does love you. He loves you so much that he sent his perfect son to die for your sins.
This chapter was just great! I really think that everyone should read this book. It is the perfect love story between you and your maker!! :)
