The Secret is Out

You probably want to know what in the world I am talking about.. Well I'm about to tell you!!

The secret is... I am apart of the Spoken For Street Team!!! Now you may be wondering what in the world I am talking about. Let me back up a little bit..

About a month ago, Alyssa Bethke (Jefferson Bethke's wife. Jeff is the author of Jesus > Religion.) posted something on her Facebook page about becoming apart of the street team to help promote the new book that she and Robin Gunn had co-authored. She said to post your email in the comment section and then you would be contacted if you were selected. I posted my email not thinking that I would actually be contacted because they were thousands of people that posted their email too. A week or so after that, I got an email from Alyssa saying that because of the volume of responses they received, they sent a survey along with the email to fill out. I filled it out, again thinking that there was no way that I would be selected to have this amazing opportunity. Little did I know, I would be selected to become on the street team! I received an email about two weeks after the survey email, saying that I had been chosen! Let me tell you, boy was I excited!! I was so excited that I called my Sunday school teacher who was actually the one to share Alyssa's original post about the street team to tell her. She was excited for me too!!

You're probably going, yeah that's great for you, but why do we care about it. Well with being apart of the street team comes with letting girls and women know that they are loved, pursued, wanted, and spoken for.

I am going to try my absolute hardest to post everyday from now until April 15th, that's when Spoken For is released to the public, to post what I am learning through this journey. I am so thankful that God has allowed me to be apart of this, and my sole goal is to make it known to the nation that you are Spoken For. I really covet your prayers as I start this journey, and please pray for me as I make this my mission.

I am going to leave you with two questions that I really want you to think long and hard about. What would you have done differently in your life if you had known that you were loved, pursued, spoken for? What will you do differently now that you know that you are loved, pursued, and spoken for?

xoxo, <3 Katelyn
