Weekend Rewind

Friday all day was prepping for Lexi's birthday sleepover. We had to clean the house, make food, and get everything else ready for that night. Lexi planned the menu for the party and we had veggies and dip, sliders, milkshakes, chips, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered graham crackers, and cupcakes. It was all really good! I love party food, but it's not good for me! :) Lexi had so much fun at her party! They ate, watched movies, decorated tote bags, played, opened presents, and all the different birthday party fun! Saturday we had basketball and cheerleading again. Mom and Dad had to go up to Richmond to see my grandfather who is in the hospital. Please pray for him, he had a heart attack and is in need of a lot of prayers.

Sunday was church, and then we came home and relaxed. It was such a pretty day, that after a while, the kids went and played outside. Ben, Jacob, and I threw the baseball around, and Lexi just ran around and played. While I was relaxing, I was looking for a bedspread for my dorm room. I found one on Overstock.com that I absolutely fell in love with!! It is pink and white chevron on one side, and white and grey on the other. I plan on pairing it with grey sheets with white polka dots! I think it is going to look really pretty! I also plan on pairing it with some navy blue throw pillows and maybe a teal throw blanket! I think it is going to look really pretty!! :) I can't wait to decorate my dorm room!

The bedspread is going to be perfect for a drafty dorm room. It's a quilt, and I love the way it looks!!
