Weekend Rewind

Happy belated Easter Weekend! :) What did y'all do this Easter weekend?


Friday: I got to meet my roommate for the first time! We had been talking through text and once through facetime, and so it was great to be able to meet her in person and get to know her and her family. We spent about three hours just talking, and it was hard to leave because we still had so much more talking to do!

Saturday: We went to meet up with the girl that I was buying a fridge from. She is so nice. I was buying the fridge and SHE gave me this little  She is a Liberty student, leaving campus and needed to get rid of the fridge. It is a fridge/freezer combo and it is SO nice. It will be perfect for my dorm room. After getting it home, we just checked it out and then went on to inventory my college stuff that I had already received. My grandmother brought me all of this stuff that she had collected for me. I was so happy! It's funny how happy cleaning supplies and toilet paper make a college student!

Sunday: Easter and visiting with family. We had an Easter egg hunt right after church for the kids. We had to hide about 40+ eggs! After church and the egg hunt we headed up to see family and eat with them. We had the normal Easter food! Ham, green beans, rolls, mashed potatoes, corn, apples, stuffing, mac n cheese, brownies, and cobbler! It was so good. I wish I could eat like this everyday.. There was another egg hunt in there somewhere for the kids. More candy and ice cream = sugar rushes for the kids! It was nice to get to see family again!

That was my fun Easter weekend! I hope y'all had a great time with friends and family.. Remember He is Risen! <3
