This weekend went by SO fast it seemed like. I blinked and it was over. Pretty much that is how everyday lately has been going by. I am kinda thankful that they are going fast, because I am looking forward to fall, but I know that I am going to look back and wish that they would have gone by slower.
Friday: School and then we had friends over to watch basketball. Everyone except for me had pizza and I had a pasta dish from Dominoes. I can't really eat pizza and stuff like that due to my wisdom teeth being removed, but I could eat pasta.
Saturday: we had a baby shower for a friend of ours in the afternoon. Really the morning was just chilling out and getting ready. After the baby shower, we just came home and made baked potato soup. It is SO yummy! My mom has been using this recipe for as long as I can remember, and I love it every time she makes it. We don't have it often because it is a very time consuming dish, but when we do make it, it is a family favorite.
Sunday: it was a rainy and cold Sunday. It made it kind of dreary. I wore sandals even though it was rainy because I was trying to channel spring. Apparently it worked because today it is sunny!! :) Sunny makes me happy! Lol!
