Girls Weekend

This weekend (Friday and Saturday) I got to spend some real quality time with some of my favorite girls. It was a much needed girls weekend, and I think it came at just the right time. We headed to Lynchburg Friday morning, and didn't look back! ;) We just got back about two hours ago. Friday was an early morning. We picked up my mom's friend and then headed into town for a dentist appointment and breakfast. We ate at Panera Bread, and then headed to Lynchburg. I personally love Lynchburg, that probably why I chose to go to college there, and so when I had a chance to go visit, I jumped at it!

Friday was spend visiting and seeing different parts of Lynchburg due to some of the different things that we had to get done while we were there. We actually were able to visit Liberty's bookstore, and I bought a sweatshirt and my mom bought me a new Bible. For dinner that night, we went and got mexican. I could probably eat mexican every day of the week! Lol! I love it! After dinner was just more visiting!

Today we got up and ate breakfast. After everyone was finished eating, we all got ready and went shopping! I needed to get some dress pants, and who doesn't love an excuse to shop?! We started at goodwill, and after spending ten minutes and trying one what seemed like a million pairs of pants I finally found some! Yay!! I got a khaki pair and a black pair! After goodwill, we went to this "designer" consignment shop! The lady only accepted designer brands, which means the prices might be a little bit more expensive, but you know that you are going to get a good quality piece of clothing for a good price. I found a jean skirt that I love! It goes perfectly with my cowboy boots, and I plan on wearing it tomorrow for church! I also found a Vera Bradley purse that had never been used before. It was a good price, and I have wanted a new one for a while now! It is also so springy!! I am trying my hardest to channel spring, but I don't think it is working!! We are supposed to get some winter weather on Monday. Please PLEASE pray that we don't get the weather, or that it isn't as much as they are calling for. I am something very important that I want to do on Monday, and this weather would really mess it up! After shopping most of the morning, we went to lunch and then back to the house that we were staying at. After taking a restroom break we headed over to a mill that grinds their own grains! It was really neat getting to see everything that was in that store. It was really crowded, but I've never been in a place like that before. The mill was cool, but we went to an ice cream place after that, and I loved that! It was one of those country soft serve ice cream place, and it was so cute! :)

This has probably become my new favorite outfit. It is so colorful and springy! Well there I go again. Trying to channel spring.

She put on my sunglasses, and I told her to strike a pose! This is what I got! :)
My new sweatshirt. I love it. So comfy and warm! I just wish it was a little bit bigger!
 The monogram.
When we went to the mill, we saw this old ford. I love this picture.
xoxo, <3 Katelyn
